An Inventory - Why Do I Need One?

Under Tenancy Deposit Scheme legislation it is not compulsory for a landlord to have an inventory, however in practice this is an essential document in the event of any dispute regarding missing/damaged items or of contents dilapidations at the end of the tenancy.

NO INVENTORY MEANS NO EVIDENCE OR PROOF

Next to your Tenancy Contract an Inventory is the most important document as a means of avoiding or reducing disputes at the end of the tenancy.
